Luxury Yacht Charters:

Luxury Yacht Charters, Yacht Charters, Sailing YachtsThe status of the luxury yacht charters ensign (13 stars in a circle around an anchor on a blue field) is not spelled out clearly, but since the law specifically covers only the flag of the United States, the assumption has been made that the luxury yacht charters ensign may be dipped.

The following regulations are taken from that portion of the New York luxury yacht charters Club code entitled luxury yacht charters Routine. These deal with salutes, boats (meaning tenders and dinghies), and general courtesies. Other sections of the code, not given here, relate primarily to the display of flags, signaling, and lights.

• The yacht charters Ensign has the same 13 stripes, but with a fouled anchor in a circle of 13 stars in the union rather than 50 stars. Originally, it was to be flown in addition to the U.S. ensign to designate a yacht charters documented by the Coast Guard; now, however, it is seen on recreational craft of all types and sizes instead of the 50-star flag. It should not be flown in international or foreign waters where the national flag is required. The locations and hours are the same as for the 50-star flag.

When a flag officer makes an official visit, his flag, if senior to that of the yacht charters visited, shall be displayed in place of the burgee while he is on board.
