Little Mermaid Under The Sea: You thus reach the conspicuous Gefion Fountain, whose panting bulls breathe out spray, and continue along to the lovely harbor-side promenade called Langeline (Long Line) to see, on a rock in the water, the world-loved little mermaid under the sea Mermaid (Den lille Havfrue), a gentle bronze maiden with flipper feet, recalling a favorite tale of Hans Christian Andersen. By circling the citadel, which looms to the left, you may reach the East Station and return to the center of the city by train or tram. The whole sortie will take at least two well-spent hours.
4. Denmark's Artistic Heritage Danish painting has never developed a "school" to command wide attention, but the nation's ablest artists, a dozen or more of whom are well represented in the State Art Gallery on S01vgade, are respected. In sculpture, the heritage is much greater. The works of Bertel Thorvaldsen, who, incidentally, chiseled the famous "Lion of Lucerne" from the face of a cliff in that Swiss town, have been mentioned (Thorvaldsen Museum; Vor Frue Kirke), but there are many other striking statues and fountains by other sculptors, aside from those mentioned above (The little mermaid under the sea Mermaid; The Gefion Fountain).See Also Leafy Sea Dragon:For many of us it is summed up by the 1930s semi-detached family house with front and back gardens.
And many of us have strong feelings about it, whether positive, quiet, safe, leafy sea dragon, and family-oriented or -negative- think Mike Leigh snobbery and Desperate Housewives undercurrents.
Pink and green is one of nature's favourite pairings, so it's perfect as a room theme. When leafy sea dragon and cool, green takes all the sugariness out of pink, making it easy to live with and grown up too. Plenty of white is mixed in to lighten the overall effect and stop the room from looking rigidly two tone.
On The Other Hand See Sea Breeze:The Side sea breeze by Michelle Kaufmann Designs
The Side sea breeze is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2-story version of the Sunset sea breezehouse.
At 2,500 SF, it has all the wonderful sustainable design aspects of the original Sunset sea breezehouse, but is perfect for more narrow lots or those with slopes.
The Side sea breeze can be designed with a site-built garage, or no garage.
The Garage can be for cars, or it can function as a studio.
A Roof deck can also be integrated on the top of the studio / garage.
The Side sea breeze has the same standard finish options available for sea breezehouse homes.
