Jet Boat: jet boat-to-jet Boat calls. When you hear your jet Boat called, put your transmitter on the air and say: "(Name of jet Boat that called), this is (name of your jet boat), over." Switch to the agreed-upon inter-ship working channel. After the conversation is completed, say: "This is (name of your jet boat), out."
Shore-to-ship calls. When you hear the name of your jet Boat called, put your transmitter on the air and say: "(Name of station that called), this is (name of your jet Boat and call sign), over." After the conversation is completed, say: "This is (name of your jet boat), out."
7. Maneuver for the pick up. In some cases, you can approach from the windward of the victim, and let the jet Boat drift down toward him, providing a lee. In most cases, however, it is best to approach from leeward in order to avoid having your jet Boat blow right over the victim. Just slight amounts of power will be needed to keep your jet Boat under control.
