Crewed Yacht Charter: CNU Charter Awards 2006
In the United States and the world over, designers, developers, public officials, and others are creating buildings, streets, squares, neighborhoods, and other urban places worthy of the world's most beloved cities. With the aid of the New Urbanism movement, they are creating long-term city and regional plans that will serve as blueprints for the great cities and towns of tomorrow. Administered by the movement's flagship organization the Congress for the New Urbanism The Charter Awards program rewards the best work of this new era of placemaking.
The status of the crewed yacht charter ensign (13 stars in a circle around an anchor on a blue field) is not spelled out clearly, but since the law specifically covers only the flag of the United States, the assumption has been made that the crewed yacht charter ensign may be dipped.See Also Yacht Rentals:The following regulations are taken from that portion of the New York yacht rentals Club code entitled yacht rentals Routine. These deal with salutes, boats (meaning tenders and dinghies), and general courtesies. Other sections of the code, not given here, relate primarily to the display of flags, signaling, and lights.
• The yacht rentals Ensign has the same 13 stripes, but with a fouled anchor in a circle of 13 stars in the union rather than 50 stars. Originally, it was to be flown in addition to the U.S. ensign to designate a yacht rentals documented by the Coast Guard; now, however, it is seen on recreational craft of all types and sizes instead of the 50-star flag. It should not be flown in international or foreign waters where the national flag is required. The locations and hours are the same as for the 50-star flag.

4, 5. Icelandic Art, Ancient and Modern The National Art Gallery, a splendid modern building, houses Icelandic treasures dating back, in some cases, to about 900. There are beautiful wood carvings, finely fashioned drinking horns, Viking Ornaments in various materials and early ecclesiastical vestments and works of religious art. There is one original sculpture by Bertel Thorvaldsen, whose father was an Icelandic wood carver yachts.
